Explanation
The AI hype cycle traps companies in either blind trust or paralyzing fear. The Executive AI Maturity Model plots organizations into quadrants based on their ability to understand the technology (data provenance, algorithmic bias) and their ability to apply it commercially (ROI, efficiency gains). The goal is to move organizations from the 'reactive/fear' or 'reckless/hype' quadrants into the 'integrated/strategic' quadrant, where AI serves as a governed, profitable capability rather than an unmanaged risk.
